A few posts back, I featured this top which is the same style and pattern as this dress.  I’ve fallen in love with the off the shoulder trend.  They’re both so much fun and perfect for the summer!  This dress also comes in blue which is also gorgeous!  For reference, I’m wearing a medium.

As it gets warmer, I find myself wearing fewer accessories just because excessive, heavy jewelry can be uncomfortable and annoying.  I found this bracelet in a local boutique in Columbia, MO (M-I-Z!!) and had to have it!  Even though I’m now living in Illinois, I still need to represent my home state! This bracelet comes in a few other options, but you can also get it customized.  What a cute idea for a personal gift!  We make it to Columbia often because I’m from a small town just west of there, but if you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend shopping in downtown Columbia and stopping in at Swank.  They have the cutest clothing + accessories at all price points.

As you can see, I had some “guests” in some of my photos.  Of course my goldendoodle, Ipo, had to make an appearance.  Also, my sweet niece, Cora, took a break from playing in the kiddie pool and shared some lemonade with me.  How cute is her bathing suit?!  And it just happened to match my dress!

I also need to give a huge thank you to my sister-in-law, Taylor!  She was home visiting for a few days, and I had to take advantage of her amazing photography skills.  Check out more of her work here.  One last thing, these pictures were taken in my in-laws backyard/patio area – isn’t it beautiful?!  A green thumb and knack for decorating are just a couple of my mother-in-law’s many talents.

Thank you for stopping by!  See you at the top of the coconut tree!
