My parents came to visit the weekend before the 4th, and we went to Quincy to do some shopping. While out and about, my shoe broke! We headed to Kmart to get an affordable pair of sandals – boy did I walk out with more than just sandals!
I was so impressed by their clothing and shoe department! This peplum top is perfect and could easily be mistaken as a piece from a higher end store. Also, these sneakers are so incredibly comfortable and remind me of a more expensive pair I have.
Rompers have been pretty trendy for the past couple of years, and I think they’re absolutely adorable! However, my body type doesn’t really lend well to rompers causing them to be uncomfortable and fit inappropriately (really, it seems that some rompers were made for girls that don’t have torsos!). My solution is a monochromatic look – wear the same colored top and bottom. This gives a very similar and stylish look of wearing a romper but without the discomfort.
Moral of this blog post – GET TO KMART! Don’t be afraid to branch out and venture off the beaten path. If you like something, buy it! I’ve made multiple trips back and have found more cute clothes, pajamas and some super affordable home decor. If you’re not close to an actual store, check out their website for tons of amazing deals!
See you at the top of the coconut tree!
